Smooth Alienation is the theme for this 10th edition: "alienation" is a concept rooted in the historic transfer of land and Marx's theory of industrial estrangement.
Today, this isolation permeates our cities and digital "non-spaces," severing our connection to nature and one another under the guise of progress. Lured by the promise of a more comfortable, hyper-connected life, we to find ourselves in a state of tranquil numbness.
